EMFONIA 2007 – 2024
Our unicorn, our keeper of the herd and the kindest and sweetest Emfonia (Galba x Ernera/Monogramm) has crossed the rainbow bridge. For over a year we have kept her laminitis in good check and we had such high hopes of keeping it in check for at least one more baby (she was the best mom and loved to be one), but a turn for the worse told us it was time to let her go. For us the most important thing is that the horses can live a pain free and happy life. From now on this was nothing we could guarantee.
I never forget the first time I brought her to the field to meet the other horses after she arrived from Poland. In a split second she spotted her paternal sister, Garuda. The two spent their first two years thogether in the big fields at Michalów State Stud in Poland, before Garuda went to the race track. What happend next will forever stay in my heart. The pure joy the two sisters expressed after not seeing eachother for almost 9 years was unprecedented. From that day they have been unseparable.
“Emma” leaves a treasured daughter, SA Esita, in our barn and an equally treasured son, SA Evident, now owned by Cecilia Müller.
She will be so missed.
